Operational Risk Administrator (0207)

To assist in implementing the new Man Capital Markets (MCM) Operational Risk System and train users, provide first line business and departments support to update their annual Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), and standardise RCSAs and the Enterprise Risk Register.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Work closely with the Head of Operational Risk and the vendor to ensure the MCM Operational Risk System is implemented appropriately across all MCM Ltd affiliates.
  • Help design and implement the incident reporting and indicator submission workflow.
  • Assist the Head of Operational Risk in meetings with Desk Heads and Department Heads to design and implement user access profiles.
  • Help design and create automated rule-based email notifications from the system for incidents and indicator breaches.
  • Setup the action tracking module across all risk identification components.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing on all new functionality before release into production.
  • Upload and maintain existing Key Indicators into the MCM Operational Risk System.
  • Assist with the migration of RCSAs from excel spreadsheets into the MCM Operational Risk System.
  • Assist, and work with the vendor to develop automated reporting for various risk committees.

Assist with the annual Risk Control Self-Assessment programme

  • Assist standardise risks and controls on RCSAs and ensure the 2019 RCSA template submissions are complete and accurate before migration into the MCM Operational Risk System.
  • Produce an accurate and complete Risk Register from aggregated RCSAs.

First Line Operational Risk Training

  • Perform system demos ‘on screen’ to new users of the MCM OR System while the Head of Operational Risk presents to new users.
  • Provide on-the-job training to system users on various components of the MCM Operational Risk System when required.   

Assist with BAU Operational Risk Activities

  • Follow up with Key Indictor owners monthly to ensure Key Indicator submissions are provided on time with complete and factual commentary.
  • Assist produce Management Information packs for various risk committees.
