Asset Servicing Analyst (Temporary) (0197)

The Role

The role is an interim role within the Asset Servicing section, specifically providing cover for front-to-back dividend processing during a busy period for up to six months.

Responsibilities

Duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all dividend events are captured, reconciled and accurately processed
  • Process and reconcile entitlements, liaising with custodians & counterparties to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Provide day to day assistance for asset servicing function, providing end-to-end coverage of all relevant events
  • Ensure compliance with KPI requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Asset Servicing with specific focus on European markets
  • Understanding of market mechanisms and practices related to income / corporate action events crucial, including market compensations, deadline standards & dual taxation agreements
  • Previous exposure to stock loan / prime finance business would be beneficial
  • Exposure to a tax operations / documentation function would also be favourable
  • Comfort with interpreting raw SWIFT messages and then actioning a must
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • A self-starter who can find the best solution with minimal oversight
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communicator who is comfortable conversing and dealing with people of all levels of seniority, across all business functions
