Accountant (12 month FTC) (0158)



  • Assisting in the timely and accurate drafting of monthly management and annual statutory accounts.
  • Provision of information to auditors.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations for review by the European CFO.
  • Variance analysis of monthly Balance Sheet and P&L movements.
  • Maintenance of Hyperion for entities, ensuring accurate data entry, load mapping etc.
  • Assisting in monthly reporting including notional interest calculations, reconciliation of intercompany balances, etc.
  • Assisting in daily reconciliations for interfaces from back office systems to the General Ledger.
  • Assisting with the daily client money reconciliation.
  • Involvement in regulatory reporting, as required.
  • Assisting in additional ad hoc tasks that arise within the department.



  • Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS is essential.
  • Regulatory reporting knowledge would be an advantage.
  • A high attention to detail is required.
  • Approach tasks with a “hands-on” and practical attitude.
  • Strong work ethic, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and being able to deal with competing priorities.
  • Computer literacy is necessary and the ability to use a consolidation package such as Hyperion would be an advantage.
